Discover the essence of Uruguay on a full-day experience designed so you can see Montevideo's main attractions in a comfortable, organized way. We start with a transfer from your hotel to the ferry terminal to cross the Río de la Plata to the Uruguayan capital.

On arrival, we begin a panoramic tour of the city's most iconic sites, including historic Plaza Independencia, the imposing Legislative Palace and the traditional Montevideo Agricultural Market (MAM). We continue to the Centenario Stadium and Parque Batlle, key symbols of Uruguayan culture and history.

The tour also takes us along the elegant coastal promenade (rambla), through the Pocitos neighborhood, the iconic Montevideo Letters and Puerto Buceo, with some of the best views of the city and the Río de la Plata.

During the day you'll have free time for lunch at La Cantina, in the port area, and later free time for shopping at Montevideo Shopping, with a coffee break at the Hilton Garden Inn.

At the end of the experience, we return to the port to board the ferry back to Buenos Aires, where a transfer will take you back to your hotel.

Itinerary

  1. Hotel pickup: We start the experience by picking you up at your accommodation and taking you to the ferry terminal to begin the excursion (if applicable).
  2. Ferry to Montevideo: Enjoy a comfortable crossing of the Río de la Plata to the Uruguayan capital, about 3 hours on the water.
  3. Lunch included: You'll stop for lunch at the traditional La Cantina restaurant, in one of the city's most iconic areas.
  4. Panoramic city tour: On arrival, you'll tour Montevideo's main attractions with a local guide on a shared bus, discovering its history, architecture and way of life.
  5. Free time for shopping: You'll have free time to explore Montevideo Shopping, stroll around the area and enjoy the city at your own pace.
  6. Return to Buenos Aires: After the visit, you'll return to the port to board the ferry back to Buenos Aires, where a transfer will take you back to your hotel.
